The Book Has Been Opened

The Book Has Been Opened

God has removed the seals from the Bible and a great deal of new information is pouring out of it in our day. The Bible commands us to sound the alarm, and we have very little time left in which to do so. Most of us have loved ones in the churches and we want to warn them, but it is difficult to present all of the necessary information. We aren't sure where to begin or we get nervous because we aren't good speakers. Or perhaps we don't have all the necessary references memorized or our notes are too cumbersome to flip through during such a conversation. This book has been prepared as an aid for those who would prefer to present this information in written format and then discuss it with them after they've read it. It's largely a compilation of many of the new things we've been learning as we've diligently studied God's Word while carefully checking out the teachings of other faithful teachers.

Many of us can understand the mindset of today's churchgoer because we were in those shoes before God opened our spiritual eyes. We are familiar with the common doctrines of today's churches. We know what Bible study methods are taught to their attendees. In order to show our loved ones the new truths that are being revealed in our day, we often have to first correct their understanding of how to approach the Bible. Churches have misled many of us. Their Bible study methods sometimes instill doubt about the Bible's reliability and they typically empty the Bible of much of its content by disallowing a search for truth beyond the surface meaning of a passage. This book has been prepared with this in mind and approaches its topics with the assumption that its reader has spent a significant portion of his or her life attending a church.
